"It's over," Noonan said,
referring to the Republicans' chances.
And, concerning Palin:
"The most qualified? No!
I think they went for this -- excuse me--
political bullshit about narratives....
Every time the Republicans do that,
because that's not where they live
and it's not what they're good at, they blow it."

Murphy added: "You know what's really the worst thing about it?
The greatness of McCain is no cynicism, and this is cynical."

This moment of truth came after Noonan had spoken glowingly of Palin just days before and refered to Palin as "powerful," and that she might even be "transformative."

Commentary:
Sarah Palin is not ready to be Vice President by any stretch of the imagination and the Republicans know it. They are scornfully mocking us and are waiting to see how stupid and gullible we are, they have polished another turd and are serving it with a straight face. If America's undecided independent voters buy this pig wearing lipstick, we deserve a government of the stupid, by the stupid, for the stupid.
